Il Poggione Brunello

Il poggione were very selective with their grapes this vintage, being that it was a hot and dry year. Notes of ash and smoke coming into play with that viberant cherry and young blackberry. Youthful and exuberant, expect this to play nicer here in the next few years, where the firm tannin will relax. Still gorgeous, red licorice on the finish.
