This old world style red is smooth on the palate, with a refinement and complexity worth savoring. Notes of caramel surface over time. Though it is deeper in color, it's not too heavy nor too sweet. Strong spices with leather, oak and umami. Dark fruit transforms through the finish, with a hint of green pepper.
